I wasn't aware that any of them offer archery. If you get impatient, there's a site at the Suwon Hwasong fortress where you can do that. Actually, I shared a hanok room with attached bathroom with two roommates, two ladies visiting from Australia. That was definitely part of the fun. I was just there a few months ago for the first time and when I saw they have a temple stay program was like, now this definitely an amazing spot for one. Great to read more about their program. Love that golden statue. That was one of my favorite parts of the temple complex there.Halliehttp://thesoulofseoul.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-498448610956494341.post-75572247861738135952018-09-10T08:40:59.153+08:002018-09-10T08:40:59.153+08:00When I did both of my Temple Stays (in Magoksa and...When I did both of my Temple Stays (in Magoksa and Boemosa), waking up super early 3-3:30am was probably the hardest thing to do. It was also not a requirement, but most of us felt like we should have in order to undergo a true experience there. 108 prostrations (bows) were also hard on the knees and many of us didn't exactly finish, but having a necklace where each bead represents a bow is a great memory to have. I hope you got your beaded necklace too.
