Radisson Blu Hotel, Tromso
Location: Sjøgata 7, 9259 Tromsø, Norway
Centrally located, near the main street of McDonalds and Backstube. Few steps from Tromso Souvenir Shop (pick-up and drop-off point for the bus tour to the cable car). Near the portside for seaside viewing.
Security: You don't need to tap your key when using elevators.
Check-in: They follow check-in time at 3pm. They do allow you to leave your luggage at the luggage room before and after your stay.
Room: Small and cozy. I like it cause I'm on a backpack trip so being in a small room is good enough.
I like that they have compact luggage table.
Very well lit.
Cons: They have provided a low amount of soap.
My windows are good enough to see the sky. Though I have not seen the northern lights from my window, the city lights were brilliant for the rest of the night.
Check-out: Is very quick and easy.
Recommendation: My stay is great. I liked my room. It's clean. They provide toiletries. I got a good view. They have a friendly staff.
Accommodation in Tromso gets expensive especially during winter and during the spike of the northern lights. If you find a more affordable room, better check the reviews to not let it ruin your stay in Tromso.
