I took the Gakuentoshi Line from Sapporo station to Royce Town station. From there, took the shuttle service going to Royce Chocolate Factory. If the shuttle service does not fit your schedule, you can walk towards the factory for 500m or less than 10 minutes, just be careful if it's too snowy.
Check their website for the ticket reservation. They also offer activities like chocolate making, which I did not do.
The museum is superb, it's only text-heavy, but you can touch and feel some of the machines and display. I loved the sound, music and encouragement for active participation of the goers. It was a good experience.
I liked the activity center the most, it feels like I'm in the arcade. Playing games about chocolates. It was so much fun that I was not able to take a photo of the place.
At the end of the museum, you can write on a cocoa paper and stick-on to the tree-wall of thoughts.
