Otaru, Japan: Sakaimachi street

 

Go to Sakaimachi street to visit glass museums, music box museum, old buildings converted to restaurants and shops. 

Started the day early to take some photos when it was not yet crowded.

Lucky to be included in the audience on lamp-lighting in Kitaichi Hall.  I had my breakfast there too.

Moved to LeTAO Main Store, it was then too crowded early in the morning.  If you want to see an overlooking view of Sakaimachi, head to the tower.

Then, roam around the Otaru Music Box museum.

And appreciate the music in the Antique Museum.
