Starbucks Coffee - Fujiyoshida

Location: 4-chome-14-22 Kamiyoshidahigashi, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi 403-0032, Japan

It's located along a highway (national route, Fujimi by-pass), after taking the first bus from Mt. Fuji station, we had to walk towards the cafe. 

Lucky again, Fuji was showing early in the morning of our visit. 

Fuji Shibazakura Festival

Location: Festival food truck - 212 Motosu, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0338, Japan

Food: yakisoba 700y, okonomiyaki on stick 700y, ice cream 650y, drinks 250y

Personal preference: 8 out of 10

I prefer the okonomiyaki better than the yakisoba. 

We loved the soft serve.

Herb Garden Café

Location: 1996 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0301, Japan

Food: corn soup 650y, hand-wrapped pizza basil and chicken, cheese & bacon 550y ea

Personal preference: 8 out of 10

Having warm soup in the cold windy afternoon while watching Fuji is just so perfect.

Both of the hand-wrapped pizzas were also tasty and great.  

Lucky enough that during our visit, Fuji is so visible.  Paying for the observation deck is worth it.  This place is not crowded.  Most of the time, we were alone enjoying the open seats outside.

Oshino Hakkai

Location: Shibokusa, Oshino, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0511, Japan

Food: shrimp + crab pancake 500y, warabi mochi 300y, chestnuts ice cream 450y

Personal preference: 9 out of 10

Visiting old towns gives you an experience on the culture and tradition.  

This time of the day, Fuji is already hiding.  Don't worry, it made us focus on the food we found on the streets of Oshino Hakkai.

MOS BURGER Fujisan Station Shop

We were looking forward for the shrimp burger, but it's not yet available during our visit.
