Japan: Tokyo Projection Mapping

Visit TOKYO Night & Light.

Travel Date: 18 May 2025

Some of the light displays I've seen are Symphony of Lights in Hong Kong and the Lantern Festival in Cheonggyecheon Stream, Seoul which I've seen for 3 years.  Best light festival for me is Vivid Sydney.

But it's also nice to visit the new attraction in the heart of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building - largest architectural projection-mapped display (permanent).

There's only one coffee truck in the area, so better bring your picnic haul as you wait for the show.

During our visit, we saw the screening of Gundam in the future, Godzillas and Pacman.

My favorite would be: TOKYO Time Traveler - From Edo to the present day and into the future - this film depicts the history and evolution of Tokyo, as a time-traveling airship travels through the city.
