Spring in Denmark: Where to go around Copenhagen?

Where to go around Copenhagen?

Rosenborg Castle
Very accessible in city central.  Buy your tickets online if you want to skip the line. Also, if you don't want to leave your bag on the lockers, ensure to bring a very small bag only.

Intricate ceiling, grand tapestries all over the walls, wide collection of royal arts and treasures.

Christianborg Palace
Surrounded by canals it is also accessible in the city center.

Round Tower
Is a spiral ramp tower that offers exhibition, planetarium and observatory in one.

It features modern art exhibitions apart from the old architectures of the church.

Other permanent exhibitions showing the ceiling (or vault/roof area) of the church.

From the Round Tower, you can also get a glimpse of the Trinitatis Church.

Luckily, I was able to notice this small tunnel to see the ground-zero.

The top floor acts as planetarium with huge telescope.

Visit the outdoor observatory, this is a good spot to look over the skyline of the city.

Tivoli Gardens
If you want to have beers and attend concert after playing around the rides of a theme park, this place is for you.

Bakken
If you have been to the famous theme parks like Universal Studios, Disney Land or Disney Sea - why not try the oldest amusement park in the world.  Visit Bakken, in the woods of Dyrehaven.

Royal Library

Getting famous in the instaworld, this place is a good option  to appreciate top-view of layered stairs from basement until the top floor.

Overlooking outside is the Cirkelbroen or Circle Bridge, that connects Christianhavn area.

If there is a chance, I like to try this kayak city tour next time.

Churchillparken
Where you can quickly roam around Amelianborg Palace, St. Alban's Church (Traditional English Anglican church consecrated in 1887 with a spire and stained glass windows),

Gefion Fountain (Bronze fountain completed in 1908, depicting Norse goddess Gefion plowing the sea with 4 oxen.)

and Langelinie Park.

Vedbaek Strand
Few minutes by bus from Naerum, I found this seaside facing Sweden area.  A great escape to free-up your mind after work.

Odense
I was able to visit the home and museums dedicated to Hans Christian Andersen.

As you can see I did not pay attention to some of the top tourist spots or overrated areas like Nyhanv, the mermaid, Carlsberg (which was close during my visit). But you can still include them in your list.

I'm looking forward to Roskilde, Legoland, Aarhus next time.
