2016 July: South Korea: Busan: Oryukdo Skywalk

Oryukdo Skywalk was constructed at the Seungdumal area (Sept 2012), a 35-meter-high coastal cliff, which is regarded as the dividing point between the East Sea and the South Sea, and started operating on October 2013, with the theme of "Walking over the sky.” [Reference]

This is a good spot to see nearby islands on a sunny day.

This area is free of charge but limited to number of visitors, to control the weight of those walking on the glass.  Every tourist need to cover their shoes with their provided shoe clothing, to prevent the glass from having scratches.  I was able to stay around 3 minutes on the glass floor, appreciating the waves underneath.

There is also a walking trail heading to the waves for a closer look.

How to get there:
From Busan Station (Busan Subway Line 1), Exit 10 or Jigegol Station Exit 3 or Kyunsung Univ & Pukyong Nat'l Univ Exit 5
-  Take bus #27.
