Fløibanen
The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway’s best-known and most visited attractions. The journey up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes about 5–8 minutes. [Reference]
Part of my target activity is taking the furnicular. You can buy the ticket online to avoid queueing. Every trip could be crowded, so it's difficult to get a good view while riding the furnicular.
Upon arrival at the top, you can drop-by the souvenir shop. Although I did not buy any since I already got some from Tromso.
During my visit, it's close to Halloween. To my surprise, on how they designed the trees with creepy costumes.
Also, during my visit, it was only few days after a storm hit the city. There are still few autumn trees, but many trees were uprooted.
There is no activity on the lake for safety. But there are canoeing, paddle boarding, and fishing in summer.
The sixth mountain I hiked on October 2025 - Fløyen. My target is to do a short hike and reach Skomakerstuen to eat pancakes with brown cheese and jam.
Mount Fløyen is also visited for the exciting Troll forest activities.
Close to sunset, I have already decided to go down and take the furnicular back to the center.
