Date Stayed: July 2-4, 2016

Price: Affordable for dorm type.  (1755php for 2 nights)

Location: Roughly 5-10 minute walk from the bus station.  But heading back to Gyeongju KTX you can take buses from the bus stop just across the street.

Service:  Upon arrival, Ajumma allowed me to use the bathroom to freshen-up.  I was even allowed to stay in the café to charge my phones.

Check-in: The lockers for your shoes is open for everyone, no specific assignment or dependency on your room.

If you booked for a dorm type room, I think it’s better to check-in first, because you’ll have the freedom to choose your bed.  If it’s still just you, you can roam around without taking care of the noise. You can wash and dry your clothes in the bathroom.  You don’t care on your mess and gadgets in the room.  You can talk to yourself aloud, haha!

Those are the perks you’ll not have once you have roommates.

On my Sunday night stay, I was all alone and I don’t have travel mates, so good it’s good for me to pay less for like a private room with 6 beds, I owned the place.  But with unused beds like that, it felt so empty. #lifedrama

Room: Dorm (1 Bed in 6 Beds Dormitory for Female - Breakfast).  It’s big enough to roam around even when all 6 were there.  I’m a bit sick on first night, but the movements did not bother me for having a good sleep.  I was up by 6am the next day, when they are still sleeping.

Culinary Experience: They provide strawberry jam and loaf bread for breakfast.  I have not tried it though.  There is Paris Baguette on the next block.

Things to ponder:
  • I have not read that there is a puppy as their pet.  He’ running around even when there is a new guest to be introduced in the room.  The next day, the dog stinks (I do love puppies but I guess it’s just that my sensitive nose that can’t take the smell due to my asthma).
  • Ajumma do not speak English, but she is trying to be helpful.  Unnie who was there in Saturday afternoon was able to make my check-in a smooth process.
  • The shared tv is only on the first floor.  They might want to add another TV on the 2F.
Verdict: Very close to tomb hills.  Has good access to bus stops.  I was then bothered by the pet dog’s smell, so I’d say, I’ll find a guesthouse closer to the bus terminal.

Getting here:
