Japan: Kyoto Station

We are visiting Kyoto Station for the night lights and overlooking the view of the city. 

In Kyoto Station, get through JR Central Entrance.  On your right-side, is the start of an un-ending escalator going to the top.

Daikaidan (Great Staircase, 4-11F) - At night, there could be a staircase light and sound show.

There is also a bridgeway or Skyway known as Kuchukeiro (10F).

Head to the rooftop for the Sky Garden which is an overlooking view of Kyoto and Happy Terrace which has seating areas with a bamboo garden.

Another reason I like to visit Kyoto Station is because of Karasu Kyoto Stand, a specialty coffee stand.  But it's already late night when we reached the area.
