Japan: Book cafes in Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka

Nagoya: Tsutaya Bookstore

Located inside the Aeon Mall Nagoya Noritake Garden.

This has been viral in social media.  Even if there are signages that photos are not allowed in the area, ensure to give importance to safety when visiting this place due to the staircase.

You can also have coffee at the Starbucks on the same floor.

Kyoto: Café Bibliotic Hello

650 Seimeicho, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, 604-0951, Japan

Good atmosphere with rustic interior as it is converted old machiya.

Bit pricey, but we enjoyed the basque souffle cheesecake, Darjeeling and herb lemon tea. 

It is a good spot to spend our afternoon with the old books and sweets.

Osaka: Tsutaya Bookstore

12-2 Okahigashicho, Hirakata, Osaka 573-0032, Japan

Found in Hirakata T-site, you’ll enjoy another floor to ceiling bookshelves.

You can also enjoy Starbucks at the same floor.  And you’ll enjoy more other restaurants at the roof terrace.
