Location: Accessible from Shijo Station (which is in Karasuma line that has direct access to Kyoto Station) and Karasuma Station (which is in Hankyu-Kyoto line and is a more affordable transfer to Osaka Umeda station.  It is also a station away or a breeze walking distance to Nishiki Market and Gion area.

Check-in: They will allow you to leave your luggage at the lobby without locks. So be careful to lock or connect luggages for security.

Room: The 12 sq. m area is too compact for 2 persons. It's hard to open both luggages at the same time. There are no cabinets, but has a very small place for the hangers. 

The desk is convertible and will again consume some space.  We choose this room as a more affordable option compared to other areas around Kyoto. 

Basic amenities are available at the lobby area. 

Cons: Noticeable dust in the room and bath.

Recommendation: If you are travelling solo, I recommend this place. If you are a couple or family, choose the bigger room type.
