Arrival:
Fukuoka International Terminal is not directly connected to the Subway.
You have to step-out of the building, take a free shuttle bus (from Platform 1) to reach the Domestic Terminal/Subway. Otherwise, study the bus stops in Hakata or Tenjin from International Terminal Platform 2.
Get in to the bus on rear door, keep in mind not to use the priority seats (give it to the needful ones). Watch the guidelines on video, it will show that upon getting off the bus, take the right side to lead you subway station.
On the ticket counter, I forget where I can choose to change the language, so it’s here:
Reminder:
- There are no branded clothing lines or stores in the international terminal – meaning, complete your Uniqlo (last option is the Airport subway) and Muji shopping in the city.
- Cafés are not present as well, fill up your caffeine addiction on Starbucks or St Marc in Hakata.
Departure, how spend time in the airport:
- Get your stamp posted on your traveling notebook.
- Check-out the airplane model in 2F.
- Use the mobile charging stations or internet counters.
- Shop for unique Kit Kat flavors in 3F.
- Cebu Pacific initial x-ray security check on Counter #4, nearby Check-in Counter G.
- Have your formal lunch/dinner meal in 4F with only 3 restaurants to choose from. (Warning: There are only limited convenience stores inside. If hotdog will not suffice your hunger, better have last ramen before leaving Fukuoka.)
- Visit the Observation Deck and Prayer room.
- Head to Immigration Examination Area for the hand carry check.
- Do your last shopping, and buy out mochi and Royce chocolates in Duty Free shops.
