We have visited Heyri Village because it is nearby English Village Paju. If you are looking for what to do in Paju, here is another place to visit. It just came along my research that this is one of the drama locations.

Coming from English Village, we walked from Gate 9 to Gate 4 (almost 30-45 minutes stroll), passed by the mountain side and saw a deer on the wild.
Farmer's Table
Posh restaurant where wine is normally serve - of course we skipped that part. Enjoy the ambiance and where you are dining as one with nature - there is small pond, a lot plants and cactus.
Drama Filming Location
As seen in Boys Over Flowers (Jan 2009), which was used as the cafeteria at Shinhwa High School, where Gu Jun-pyo and Geum Jan-di had their conversations.

How to get there
While on the bus, if you are not fond of DMZ or JSA or NorKor experience, you may want to extend your view at the border, as this maybe one of the closest scene to see NorKor land (Amsil). You can see that the border has installed wires and a lot of lights (street lamps), cover-ups and multiple mini-watch tower for military troop.

Hapjeong Station (Seoul Subway Line 2), Exit 1. Take Bus 2200 route. Travel duration will be 45-90 minutes depending on the traffic.

- 헤이리4번게이트 - Heyri Gate 4
- 경모공원앞.헤이리6번게이트 - Gyeongmo front park. Heyri Gate 6
- 법흥3리.헤이리8번게이트 - Beopheung processing. Heyri Gate 8
If you like to wait for the bus (every 15 mins), you can take 36, 77-3, 2200 from Paju English Village to Heyri Gate 4. But if you would like to experience woods adventure, you can walk along the mountain-side on Gate 9 until you reach Gate 4.
