2018 Dec: Taiwan: Jiufen

Jiufen is a town found in the mountainside of northeast Taiwan.  This has become a famous visit for tourists to experience the old town street with viewing deck to see the horizon of East China Sea.

Plus of course to visit A-mei Tea House which has beautiful red lanterns.

Expect an array of street food, souvenir shops, artsy galleries, restaurants and tea house as you get lost on the alleys in the mountain top.

Tip:
Spend sometime to study the map or walk along street view of Google maps and to view the route from Ruifang to Jiufen.

From the bus pick-up point near (in Ruifang), we dropped off at Jiufen Old Street (Jiudao), this is nearby the 7/11 entrance point.

Headed along the maze, until the viewing deck, then the A-mei tea house.

Take the long stairs going down back to the main street, this is nearby the Jiufen (Police Station), to head back to Ruifang area.
