There are days you may want to slow on a trip, and chilling in a library could be an option.
From Nagoya, we went to ‘Minna no Mori’ Media Cosmos Library in Gifu. I appreciate that most libraries are open to the public and travelers. Given that the atmosphere is peaceful and silent, be also reminded that we have to properly behave.
Although it's not my hobby to read, visiting libraries always inspires me.
We like the design, lighting and everything in between.
There are English books we could browse on, and my sister enjoyed my choice of book for her "My Travels in Japan" by Audry Nicklin.
While I hunt for details on where to go next.
Was also successful in finding a volleyball magazine since I'm fond of watching the weekly games in SV League. Cheering for Stings Aichi, Bluteon and Suntory Sunbirds.
There are a lot of picture books for kids which I also prefer browsing.
Hoping that this beautiful calm space would also be available back home.
Apart from reading, there are other things to do here. Appreciate from above the wind and the view. Support local food trucks. Fight the chilly weather by going under the sun while sipping Christmas flavors from Starbucks.
Before we bid goodbye to the place, we went to view this mountain side of the city.
