Towns Well Hotel 鎮興旅館
Address: No 6-6A Calcada das Verdades, Macau City (板障堂街哪咤廟斜巷6至6A號, 澳門市)
Email: macauoffice[@]asia1999.com
Dates Stayed: June 02-04, 2017
Price: Expensive (PHP 10,652.78 (Included: Hotel tax 15%, 1 Room, 2 Nights)). Comparing to other countries, this is expensive for 2 nights. However, considering that the country has many 4-5 star casino hotel rooms, this “motel” is way much cheaper. You read it right, it is considered as “hotel” in agoda.com, but their map guide says “motel”.
Location: Ten-minutes walk away from Senado Square and St. Paul Ruins. If taking a taxi from the airport, they might hesitate to drop-off you in front of the hotel because it’s a one-way street.
Room: Triple Room - a bit old and run-down. They don’t provide coffee, but there are small bottled water, cups and tea pot.
Service: We were expecting that they would make-up our room, but they have not. Possibly, it’s because were just staying for 2 nights. We still need to request the counter to clean-up our trash for the day.
Food: We have tried to go to their restaurant on the 2nd floor. However, there is no English menu, thus we stepped out to eat on other restaurant.
Reminders/Tips:
- Make sure to visit the Esprit Outlet just outside the hotel.
- It’s a bit hard to find restaurants at late night.
- Place the “make-up” room, when you need to.
