Price: Average - Family Suite (No Breakfast) PHP 10,583.28 for 3 nights

Room: I have informed them for non-smoking room, but they still assigned us on smoking floor.  We have requested for a transfer, but they say that it’s the only available family room.

I can’t say if it’s clean, but the toilet bowl is stained. The bathroom walls room carpet and couch are old and stained.  I can say that there are bed bugs since I had skin rashes after the first night.

Service: It would be better if they have assigned us to non-smoking room.  If there is more effort from the staff to transfer us the second night to a non-smoking room, since there is no more available room on our first night.

Food: (No breakfast) They don’t have restaurant.  Good thing that they offer bottled water and refrigerator.  There are only few decent restaurants which have English menu are nearby the hotel.  You still have to reach Jordan area to find better choices of restaurant.  By the way, it looks like they are more of tea-shops than coffee-shops along Jordan Road.

Panic Button: The bedbugs, stains on the washroom and smoky rooms are my concerns.

Location: In between Austin (which makes its accessible for the airport and Disney transfer) and Jordan (for easy transfer to Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui and Central areas) stations.

Recommendation: Look for more cleaner beds and newer hotel.  But it might be difficult to find one in the middle of Kowloon area that will be affordable or within the budget.  So if you are in in middle or average spender and want to be near Tsim Sha Tsui area, you can opt for West Hotel.
