Shenji New Village
If you prefer to visit streets of local craft shops with the fusion of sweets, coffee and music, stroll around Shenji New Village. It used to be an old dormitory turned to small cultural and creative park.
Try to visit on weekday afternoon as weekends can become too crowded.
This is a great place if you are looking for small souvenir, accessories and handmade goods.
If you are not into crafts, you can still enjoy the place by supporting local singers, trying more sweets and go drop-by any coffeeshop along the way.
Two Day 日日鬆餅
I bought a creme pudding from Two Day, and the sweetness is not overpowering which I prefer.

With a cup of coffee, dreams come true. In addition to the wonderful flavor, every cup of coffee has the idea of giving back and sharing care to the society - several programs they have are direct trading with farmers and clean water project in Africa. Read more from their website.
Since I'm still keeping my distance to the crowd, I have decided to skip the indoor cafe and play around outdoor.
I ordered for creative coffee out of curiosity, blooming purple mist (lavender) which looks good. It is served with scent of lavender and smoky mist effect from dry-ice. More of their menu here.
While strolling back to the street shop, go upstairs for more photo opportunity.
