Exhibition: "Travel. Art" Mr. ART in Wonderland
The wave of digital transformation is coming, and the integration of art innovation and learning experience is also moving towards a new trend. [Reference]
This is the second exhibition I experienced where the interaction with the art is thru mobile app/site. You need to catch objects from the projected image, read more information or answer succeeding posted questions.
This is a nice innovation on making arts and exhibitions interactive.
The first time I had this activity was in Team Labs Forest in Fukuoka, where you need to catch and collect various digital animals.
I was able to catch the following exhibitions during my visit:
- Memories of the Times: Selected Exhibition of Gome's 35 Collections - classic collections of the museum from various eras and the research theme of art history
- "112 Years National Art Exhibition" - including ink wash, calligraphy, seal cutting, gelatin, oil painting, watercolor, printmaking, sculpture, photography, new media art and mixed media
- Photography competition
Vase Flowers on the Sea (Huang Yuan-Yu) - Through surrealist reassembly, the work leads viewers into a visual otherworld that combine Oriental ink painting and Western painting, forming a piece of digital art of contradicting aesthetics and conveying the digital and traditional contemporary spirit through the issue of marine drift.
Looking at the piece, gives you an understanding that we are not taking care of the sea and our resources, and that we should doing our part.
Train Station
"It's a funny thing coming home. Nothing changes. Everything looks the same, feels the same, even smells the same. You realize what's changed, is you." F. Scott Fitzgerald
Allow some time to go around the outdoor areas to appreciate arts, sun and nature.
