Far away from Tokyo, luckily there is another exhibition available in Fukuoka. We were able to visit teamLab Fukuoka forest.
Travel Date: 24 April 2023
We visited on a weekday and the place is not crowded. Tickets can easily be purchased from the self-service machine at the site.
There will be safety instructions on every room you'll enter.
I like the first space, "Forest of Catching and Collecting". Exploring the exhibition with a smartphone app, you get to catch and collect various animals in the forest and read basic information about it. This is very much enjoyable for the kids learning about nature.
Focus and do not get into the dizziness in your head, you'll be enjoying rapidly rotating bouncing spheres, balancing on stepping stones and walking on soft terrain topography spaces.
Enjoy, carry, push the huge group of balls as it keeps spinning and floating into the air in 'Typhoon Ball' space.
How to get there
Don't miss the nearby mall, MARK IS, that has shops like Muji, GU, Uniqlo, Starbucks and Tsutaya. Nearby is the bus stop going back to Hakata station.
