Hotel Nikko Huis Ten Bosch
6, Huis Ten Bosch-cho, Sasebo, Sasebo, Japan, 859-3243
Travel Date: 19 April 2023
Location: Take note that this is a hotel outside Huis Ten Bosch, so you need to buy a separate ticket to the park. Although, they offer a special ticket which is a 1.5 day pass. If you are coming from the train station or bus station, it will be a long walk heading to this hotel.
Check-in: Official check-in time is at 3pm. They will keep your luggage if you arrive early. But we're glad that they were able to accommodate us to our room as early as 1pm.
Room type: Standard Twin Non-Smoking with breakfast
Food: They would start serving breakfast at 6:45am. On places like this, especially with kids around, it is recommended that you arrive the earliest that you can. Otherwise, it will be too crowded.
It may not be visible on the photos, but they had a wide range of food choices at the buffet. My favorite would be the fruits and desserts available.
There are also vending machines for drinks near elevator at ground floor, which is very convenient.
Service: During our visit the public bath is under maintenance. Thus, they offered coupons that we can use at the restaurant or in the hotel store. We bought a postcard as our souvenir and a box of biscuits.
Don't forget to roam around the area before you have your breakfast.
Recommendation: If you are prefer watching the night light shows in Huis Ten Bosh, better to have an overnight stay in Huis Ten Bosch. This is the most affordable that we can find.
