Sasebo Flower Garden

Going to Motoyama station from Sasebo station has a very mountainous view. Sometimes the train would pass through tunnels to get through the mountains.

You can get your ticket through a vending machine. It is 500yen per person. Then, you need to scan the QR to pass through the gates.

You'll walk through flowers or roses, then pass by a small bridge to see a golden pavilion (maybe a replica of the one in Kyoto).  So if you think, that the in Kyoto is too crowded, this one for sure you'll have all the time with you. 

You'll also see several statues, along with the azalea on the mountain-side. 

How to get there

Early in the morning, there are only limited buses going to the garden. Thus, the option we had was to take a train and since no cab was available, we walked 1.2km for more than 15 mins.

After a long walk, we reached the main gate.  Walk further until the ticket booth. 

Don't consider taking long walks to the destination as a hurdle.  Instead enjoy the view and take a lot of flora photos along the way!
