Fukuoka, Japan: Kamado Shrine

Thanks to Google for providing another option on going to Dazaifu apart from the usual train ride.  It's just on this trip that I learned about a bus availability from Hakata Bus Terminal going to Dazaifu Station.  From Hakata Terminal, near the clock wall, there is an escalator and walkway going to Bus Terminal.  Go to 1F, go to Gate #11, go to the pink lane going to Daizafu.

There are 45 seats available. You can queue and there is no reservation needed for this trip.  This trip accepts IC card, tap-in upon entry.  Our trip pass-by the airport terminal only to get new passengers.  Next stop is a Dazaifu government building.  Last stop is Dazaifu Station.

From here, you can take another bus going to Kamado Jinja.

Roam around and see several torii gates on the area.

Appreciate the autumn colors as you make your way on the stairs going to the shrine.

On your way back, monitor the schedule in Google maps and queue-in to the same place you drop-off.  Fare costs 100yen.

Travel Date: 06-December-2022
