Travel Date: 03-08 December 2022

We booked this hotel a month before our travel date.  We choose this modern hotel that is newly opened in October 2022 over an old hotel also in Hakata.

Location:  This hotel is located in the Hakata area which is very accessible from Exits 19 (elevator) and 21 (escalator) .  It took less than 10 minutes to reach the hotel from Hakata station.

It is also less than 15 minutes walk from Canal Mall and from most of the bus stops around the area.

Across the hotel, there is a Family Mart where you can buy your snacks.  You'll also pass by a Starbucks cafe, 7/11, and several ramen shops on your way from Hakata terminal.

Check-in:  The check-in process is very much advanced.  It is done via a machine, I have typed-in the booking number, the machine scanned the passport and ejected the key cards.

Room type:  Double bed standard room - The room space is expected to be small, but all the necessities are in there.  Upon opening the door, there is a separate door for the toilet (with the modern and heated seat), separate door for the shower area (with rain shower and complete toiletries).  Sink is in the common area.  A curtain divider is available to reach your bed area.

The smart television has local and English channels (CNN and KBS World), Youtube, Netflix (unregistered), etc.  The room is equipped with Alexa.  In line the modern technology, ensure to be careful on where to dress-up in the room or cover the camera area as needed.

It is not spacious, so whenever you fold back your luggage you can place it under your bed.

Beddings are very clean, soft, and warm.

Room is equipped with an aircon, no fan. But I commend that they provide air purifier.

Also, there is no electric airport in the room. So we asked the counter if we can request for one, and they allowed us to have one.

Food:  Our booking includes complimentary breakfast.  Breakfast is served starting at 6:30am, just bring your card key to the counter.

The menu is the same for all the days of our stay.  It is a choice of rice burger with egg or fish with soup; or sandwich with egg or ham and coleslaw with coffee.

Even if the menu is the same, I would consider that this booking made our breakfast more affordable.

You can also order more food choices from their menu.

Security:  You need to tap your key before you can select the floor.

Service:  Room is very clean. Maintained everyday for the trash and beddings.

Upon check-out, they would not allow our luggage to be kept.  They are strict that they can only keep luggages from incoming guests.

With that, we have to go to Hakata station and use the coin lockers for us to continue our trip on our last day of stay in the area.

Feedback: What is lacking is that there is no cabinet for your clothes.  There are hangers provided but not enough space to distant your clothes while hanging.

Recommendation:  Will definitely be an option on our next trip to Japan.
