Be careful!
In April 14 2016, there was the Kumamoto Earthquake (it was 112km away or 1 hr JR subway) from Fukuoka.  It was a month before my flight to .  This time, May 3 2017, volcanic erupion in Sakurajima (southern part of Kyushu, 301 km or 55 mins flight away from Fukuoka) happened.  It was 8 days before my flight to Fukuoka.
