The Café at the Hyatt City of Dreams Manila has been open to the public for quiet sometime now. But it was only recently when we had a chance to try it’s lunch buffet, thanks to the metrodeal coupon! From P1638 to discounted promo rate of P1105 net is quite a catch!
The
spread was really good, from what I remember food stations were – Italian, Grill & Griddle, Japanese /
Salads / Fruits / Cured Meats and Cheese, Asian/Noodles and Dimsum, our
very own Filipino dishes with a twist and last but not the least Dessert!
Though seafood section offers limited choice such as Manila clams, shrimp and mussels only. I hope they offer some more like oyster or crab.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture picture of steak and grill section, but there was always a long queue in it. One of our companions fall in line and it was worth the wait, meat was tender. Perfect combination with these veggies and salad options:
Cured meat, wide range for cheese options, and other pica could have been a perfect match with wine. But no we didn't do that, wine and other alcoholic options are only served during dinner time. Nevertheless, they were good fillers in between. Cheese includes: cheddar, blue pepato, emmental, gruyere. While charcuterie were ham lyoner, salami milano, beef patrami, black forest.
And here comes the dessert! The section I truly look forward to the most in every buffet feast. They offer a wide range of choices - crepe caramel, macaroons, cake, custard, chocolate mousse, fruit jelly, mango pandan roll and a lot more!
Various options for drinks are readily available. Though if you prefer hot drinks such as cappuccino, latte, brewed coffee or hot tea they can be ordered unlimited from the attentive attendants.
We visited on late November, their holiday decorations are up that adds more festivities on the ambiance. You can also request to have birthday promo treat too. Lastly, parking in City of Dreams is free, so not bad at all! Surely it was a delight to start the holiday season with this experience!
