Japan: Tokyo: Kagurazaka Saryo

Satisfy your matcha cravings

I ordered for Kyoto green tea chocolate fondue matcha set (1364 yen, 2019).  This is a warm Japanese-style chocolate fondue with fragrant Uji matcha and white chocolate.  Comes with chocolate sauce poured on the vanilla ice cream.

Since it is too cold outside, how can I be eating ice cream?  So to partner with sweets, I had hot Rosehip and tomato herbal tea (655 yen, 2019).  This is a based on dried tomatoes and rose hips and hibiscus.  With herb tea blends, Japanese red basil and orange peel as accents.

How to get there?

Coming from Kagurazaka Station Exit 1, you get to enjoy a young market street before you can reach the tea house.  Which means time to window shop and even enjoy some sweets or pop-up cafes in case you are still wanting for more.

I actually ordered for additional strawberries and rice balls.  I pretty much enjoyed my matcha which is the reason why I visited the place, obviously I did anything left behind.
