Japan: Tokyo: Toyo Bunko Museum

I just  like the scene of the book shelves that's why I squeeze this in for a visit.  But suddenly the collection touches me as the books were like about diaries of other travelers visiting places all over the world.

Some of the notable titles they have are: The Adventurer, My Restless Life, Passages, Trade and Travel, Thousand Miles, Modern Traveler, A Varied Life to name a few.

One of the title is "Private Letters", just like how I keep some of my notes when I send post cards back home.

Apart from the exhibitions, there is also a video room to explain you more of the details.  I appreciate the interactive desk which will help make your own post cards and shows how it can transform to a waterfall scene.

Some of the books were illustrations of portraits from old era, famous places in Kiso Road.  Others were focusing on landscapes, seasons, and customs.

How to get there?
