Japan: Food crawl in Toyama

Sharing the cafes, restaurants we visited in Toyama, Japan.

Starbucks Toyama

Food: pumpkin spice (580y), pumpkin basque burnt cheesecake (520y)
Personal preference: 8 out of 10

Starbucks Coffee in Toyama Kansui Park, they say is the most beautiful Starbucks.  It maybe because of the view of the location.  However, if you go there in the afternoon, it will take you forever to queue for coffee. Viewing the lagoon while sitting on the green grass would be better if you were able to grab your coffee in a good turnaround time.

In the end, we choose to just to drop-by the Starbucks in Toyama station.

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery (2019, 2025) in Tokyo would still be the most beautiful in Japan in my personal preference.

Food: Toyama's specialty black ramen
Personal preference: 7 out of 10

Toyama's specialty black ramen, the signature feature is the pitch-black soup made by blending several types of soy sauce. A supreme bowl with the rich flavor of soy sauce and the punch of black pepper.
They also offered additional soup to mellow the taste. However, mid-way eating the ramen, it is still too salty to our palette.
